This is a very special wine made from vines planted at Woodchester and Stonehouse. The grapes from these vines are usually used in our Cotswold Classic and our Culver Hill but in 2022 the fruit was so deliciously ripe that we decided to bottle a special tank as a single varietal still wine. There are only 1200 bottles so this is in extremely short supply.
The Pinot Gris has classic characteristics of Pinot Gris on the nose with aromas of peach and apricot with just a hint of spice, lovely texture on the palate with good weight, the flavours really build in the mouth with a mouthwatering long finish. This wine, has already been awarded a Gold in the Global Pinot Gris Masters awards.
