Tasting Notes:

Our quintessentially Cotswolds sparkling wine has fresh aromas of crisp, green apple and a hint of lemon meringue. On the palate there is subtle red grapefruit and nectarine with underlying key lime pie characteristics. This is all
harmoniously balanced with the sugars, acidity and effervescence leaving the mouthwateringly fresh flavours to linger on the palate.

Food Pairing:

A delicious crowd pleaser, this is the perfect aperitif but also works well with a wide range of foods, especially a crab ceviche, salted edamame beans and fresh poké bowls with lime dressing. Why not even try it with an avocado and lime prawn cocktail!

Wine Making

Variety: 70% Seyval Blanc, 16% Pinot Blanc 15% Pinot Gris

Location: Stonehouse, Amberley, Woodchester

Vinification: Whole bunch pressed, 1-2 weeks fermentation at 16°

Time on lees: Minimum 18 months

Alcohol: 12%

Residual sugar: 8.5 g/l

Orders received before 10am are dispatched on a next day delivery service, but please allow 2-3 working days, but can be up to five working days in busy periods.

For deliveries sent by our courier (ParcelForce), an email and text message will be sent to you to let you know when your delivery will arrive. If a landline number is provided, this will not be used – you will just receive an email notification instead. For local deliveries, we will use your number only to call you if lost.

LOCAL DELIVERY: If the delivery address is within GL5, GL6, GL8, GL10 or GL11 then delivery is free for 6+ bottles. This will automatically apply at the check-out. For other orders, a charge of £9.99 will apply.

MAINLAND UK: Delivery is free for all orders over £150 to Mainland UK. For orders under this a charge of £9.99 will apply.

A new addition to the Woodchester range, the Trigonia Series of sparkling wines have spent extended time on the lees before being released.

The first release of our Trigonia Series, the 2016 Blanc de Blancs. This wine was bottled in early summer 2017 and has now spent six years on the lees, quietly evolving and developing those enhanced autolytic aromas and flavours. Disgorged in May 2023, the nose is still fresh and lively, with inviting biscuit and pastry aromas reminiscent of a lemon tart.
