This early ripening version of the much loved Pinot Noir grape packs lots of flavour and elegance.

Rich, ripe red made from Pinot Précoce and Pinot Noir grapes. Smoky mulberries and black cherries on the nose with an explosion of creamy dark fruits on the palate. Very long and moreish wine which has good structure and depth. Toasted vanilla oak flavours linger on the palate. This would pair well with duck or pheasant dishes and a good soft gooey cheese.

Tasting Notes:

The wonderfully ripe 2022 vintage has resulted in a rich red made from Pinot Précoce & Pinot Noir grapes. Pinot Précoce is an early ripening clone of Pinot Noir which is well suited to the English climate with small berries & bunches, providing concentrated flavour & aromas & the Pinot Noir providing finesse & elegance to the wine. Smoky mulberries & black cherries on the nose with an explosion of creamy dark fruits on the palate. Very long & moreish wine which has good structure & depth. Toasted vanilla oak flavours linger on the palate.

Food Parings:

Delicious & versatile, this is a firm favourite on our Pinot & Pizza evenings. This wine would pair well with pan-fried duck breast & sautéed green vegtables, grilled halloumi & vegetable skewers, and soft gooey cheeses

Variety: 62% Pinot Précoce & 38% Pinot Noir

Location: Woodchester & Stonehouse

Press: Crushed & destemmed, 5 days cold maceration

Maturation: 100% oak aged – 1 year combination of 30% new & 70% 1-3 year old barrels

Alcohol: 13%

Residual sugar: <1g/l

LOCAL DELIVERY: If the delivery address is within GL5, GL6, GL8, GL10 or GL11 then delivery is free for 6+ bottles. This will automatically apply at the check-out. For other orders, a charge of £9.99 will apply.

MAINLAND UK: Delivery is free for all orders over £150 to Mainland UK. For orders under this a charge of £9.99 will apply.
